Each year, QETA conducts a student economics competition in separate divisions for Year 11 and Year 12 students. The competition is sponsored by the University of Queensland School of Economics.
It is a 40 item multiple choice test covering the core units of the economics syllabus - Core Unit 1 for Year 11 and Core Units 3 and 4 for Year 12.
All students receive a Certificate recognising their participation and results and there are cash prizes for the top three students in each division.
