DESCRIPTION:https://qeta.com.au/event-3415918\n\nThe Annual QETA UQ School of Economics Student Economics Competition is open to all schools in Queensland.\n  The Competition is conducted in your school in one 45 minute lesson sometime between 22 July and 26 July 2019.\n  It is a 40 item multiple choice test assessing Unit 1 for Year 11 students of the 2019 Syllabus and both Core Units 3 and 4 for Year 12 students of the 2010 Syllabus (this is necessary because units can be studied in different order by schools). The first 10 questions assess some knowledge of current economic events.\n  There is no entry fee. There are cash prizes for students who obtain first\, second or third position in each of the two Year levels. The prizes are presented at a Ceremony to be held at University of Queensland on 16th September 2019.\n  To enter your school and its students\, simply follow the steps from here.\n  Entries must be received by Wednesday 17th July 2019.\n  The competition papers are forwarded to school by email.
