DESCRIPTION:https://qeta.com.au/event-2550595\n\nThe Annual QETA UQ School of Economics Student Economics Competition is open to all schools in Queensland.\n  The Competition is conducted in your school in one 45 minute lesson sometime between 24 July and 28 July 2017.\n  It is a 40 item multiple choice test assessing Core Unit 1 for Year 11 students and both Core Units 3 and 4 for Year 12 students (this is necessary because units can be studied in different order by schools). The first 10 questions assess some knowledge of current economic events.\n  There is no entry fee. There are cash prizes for students who obtain first\, second or third position in each of the two Year levels. The prizes are presented at a Ceremony to be held at University of Queensland on 11th September 2017.\n  To enter your school and its students\, simply follow the steps from here.\n  Entries must be received by Wednesday 19th July 2017.\n  The competition papers are forwarded to school by email.
