DESCRIPTION:https://qeta.com.au/event-2241997\n\nThe 2016 University of Queensland School of Economics Student Economics Competition will be held between 27th July and 31st July. Students complete a 40 item multiple choice test on current economic conditions and core units of the QCAA Economics Syllabus. \n  Year 11 students are tested on the core unit "Markets and Models". Year 12 students are tested on both "Contemporary Economic Management" and "International Economics". Two units are necessary for Year 12 students as schools may study these units in different order.\n  All students who complete the test will receive a Certificate indicating their achievement level (High Distinction\, Distinction\, Credit or Participation). There are cash prizes for first\, second and third placed students in each year level.\n  There is no charge to participate in this Competition as costs are met by the sponsorship received from the University of Queensland School of Economics sponsorship.\n  Click here to download the 2016 flyer\n\n
